Since a few days, Disney+ has launched a big communication operation through all the media to promote a new product to its range: Star. It is added to the already existing catalog which includes Disney, National Geographic, etc. The objective: to boost subscriptions and weekly releases.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
Back in the Marvel universe with the characters of the Falcon, played by Anthony Mackie who also stars in Hostile Zone, and The Winter Soldier, played by Sebastian Stan. The action takes place after the last film in the Marvel timeline to date: Avengers Endgame. The two heroes join forces to fight together around the world.
It is a 6-episode mini-series format with no sequel planned. However, for Marvel (and Disney, that is), this is an opportunity to explore secondary characters. Expected release on March 19, 2021, after a first postponement in 2019!
Gathering: Behind the Scenes at WandaVision
WandaVision is probably the only Disney + program with The Mandalorian to attract viewers. It is true that the platform is still sorely lacking in big locomotives that stimulate the crowds. This documentary takes the same place as the one that followed The Mandalorian, since the format seems to have pleased subscribers. Here, we go behind the scenes and into the making of the WandaVision series. It's a dive into the MCU universe, but Disney+ also takes the opportunity to tease viewers with glimpses of upcoming programs like Hawkeye, Black Widow or Loki.
