Family Business, the Hazans are back

That's it, this October 08, the Hazan family returns on Netflix for a third season of Family Business. What to rejoice the fans of all sides who appreciate the series.

Family Business is a French series commissioned by Netflix that has met with interesting success with a large subscriber base thanks to its humor, its theme, but also its cast.

In a nutshell, it's the story of Joseph Hazan (Jonathan Cohen), a man in his thirties who doesn't really know what to do with his life. Then, he has the bright idea of transforming his father's butcher shop (Gérard Darmon) into a legal coffeeshop based on (moderately serious) information from a friend. He finds himself embarked on a journey of hardship with his entire family.

In any case, he can count on his grandmother who is a fine gardener and manages to cultivate a weed that everyone wants, the pastraweed, a reference to his father's past as a butcher. It is so good that it attracts the attention of bigger fish.

Season 2 left us with a major cliffhanger. The group had managed to get out of trouble with the Dutch, but they didn't realize that they were in the clutches of a bigger trafficker. The final seconds of the second season revealed the true face of their new "ally."

The teaser of season 3 suggests that we'll have some tight episodes in which pastraweed will make its comeback, alongside other products? In any case, the family agreement seems to be as serene as ever, with everyone pulling the wool over their eyes.

It's a shame that Netflix is treating this season as the ultimate in the series. It will be interesting to see the denouement it offers us, hoping that it will be as satisfying as the end of Lucifer.
