Star Wars, The Book of Boba Fett

The Book of Boba Fett

At Disney+, there are two "cash cows" if we dare say so. And, when the platform is not busy releasing content for one (Marvel and its recently released Hawkeye), it inevitably does so for the other: Star Wars. In this case, it is the release of a "sequel" to Mandalorian...

After two seasons of The Mandalorian, expectations were high. Especially for this title of the Book of Boba Fett. It is scheduled to be released on December 29, in the middle of the holiday season. In other words, the title should be quite a success with all those who will spend their holidays at home and who will be looking for a new program to watch...

This book takes place just after the final episode of Mandalorian Season 2. Moff Gideon and his Imperial troops are defeated and Luke Skywalker detains Grogu. Boba Fett and Fennec Shand, after leaving the Mandalorian, arrive on Tatooine, the desert planet. Together, they kill Jabba the Hutt's successor and Boba Fett is installed on the throne.

As such, this production is meant to be a deepening of the Boba Fett story, but also an interlude. Indeed, season 3 of The Mandalorian should arrive very quickly at the beginning of 2022 and this Book of Boba Fett will allow us to regroup the troops before the arrival of the new episodes.

Currently, not much has been leaked about the series. We know that it will be composed of at least one season, but we do not know the number of episodes. The same goes for the casting. Tumuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen have both announced that they participate in the series and are visible in the trailer. However, the platform has not announced any surprise names that would strengthen the cast.
