To try and keep up with its competitors, Netflix is forced to pull out all the stops. Recently, the number of subscriptions has been stagnating, and Netflix is suffering the financial consequences. Triva Quest is a new format that offers more interactivity with the subscriber. It is not a game (so not Netflix Gaming), contrary to what one might think. It is a daily soap opera that tests the subscriber's knowledge. In short, a sort of "Who wants to be a millionaire? The whole thing is set to music on a rather light scenario. The player - spectator must help Toupie to counter the infamous Rocky who wants to keep all the knowledge for himself.
This new interactive format will be available in the catalog on 1er April. And from this date on, a new episode will be published every day. There will be something for everyone. On the agenda: questions on science, sports, geography, history, art and entertainment. In short, everything that a Trivial Pursuit can offer as a theme. The 24 questions are separated into 2 sets. On the one hand, questions of a common / normal level. On the other hand, there are more advanced questions that will make the difference between good players and very good players.
Because interactivity has its limits, each question is accompanied by 4 possible answers. It is up to the player to find the right one!
The reason we're talking about Trivial Pursuit above is simply because this format is based on the Trivia Crack interactive quizzes, which are themselves based on the Trivial Pursuit franchise.
Trivia Quest is expected to be available on a variety of devices including iPhones, iPads, iPod Touch, Android phones and tablets, Smart TVs, game consoles and web browsers.
